Old Fashioned

Ingredients

  • 2 parts Straight Bourbon Whiskey
  • 1/2 part Demerara Syrup
  • 3 Dashes Woodford Reserve® Aromatic Bitters
  • 2 Dashes Woodford Reserve® Orange Bitters

Instructions

Add ingredients to the mixing glass. Add ice to mixing glass and serving glass. Stir ingredients for 30-40 secs. . Strain into serving glass. Garnish with a lightly expressed orange peel.

Col. James E. Pepper, who was born on the site of what is now the Woodford Reserve Distillery, is credited with popularizing the Old Fashioned Cocktail by introducing it to society at New York’s Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.
