Beeswax Washed Woodford Reserve Kentucky Rye Whiskey

3/4 oz

Buckwheat Infused Lustau Vermut Blanco

1/4 oz

Bittermens Krupnik Herbal Honey Bitters

Step 1

Buckwheat Vermouth - Toast buckwheat tea for a few minutes until some aroma is released. Combine 1 tsp of tea per 2oz of Lustau Vermut Blanco and infuse overnight for 12 hours, then strain.

Step 2

Beeswax Washed Rye - Combine 1 oz beeswax pellets for every 4 fl oz whiskey. Let sit for 24 hours and then strain. Pellets are reusable for 2-3 more rounds of infusions. Use food-grade beeswax pellets for a quicker method of infusion.

Step 3

Chamomile Tea - Boil water, use 3 bags of chamomile tea per cup, and do not remove the bags until the water has come down to room temp. Tea is used in place of water- add about 10-12% of total cocktail batch volume to the batch.

Step 4

Fully batch the cocktail. Place in glass bottles and store in freezer.

Step 5

Pour 3.5 oz of batch over a 2"x2" large clear cube in a rocks glass, and garnish with micro flowers.
